Your new role As a Lab Technician, you will be primarily responsible for the day to day operational tasks within the Food & Beverage testing laboratory. You will set up, adjust, maintain and clean laboratory equipment. You will analyse the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to regulated specifications, and record relevant test data to issue reports. You will obtain specimens, cultivate, isolate and identify microorganisms for analysis, examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities. You will communicate cross-functionally and consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found. What you\'ll need to succeed The successful candidate will have a completed MBO in Life Sciences or related field. - Previous industry experience would be considered a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a team and also as an individual contributor to completing required tasks.
- Ability to present a high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Show a willingness to learn and work in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in Dutch and English in both verbal and written communication is required.
