Be part of Global Planning, an award-winning Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain team! The Global Material Requirements Planning team leads the replenishment of critical supply for the manufacturing of biopharmaceutical products for our patients. The team also masters inventory management and strive to minimize Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) stocks to best inclass performance.

Position Information

Position Title: Sr Materials Requirements (MRP) Planner

Position Overview

Communicate with different suppliers to align the plan and keep all stakeholders updated. Be an integral part of a team which optimizes the flow of materials while considering the site' warehouse capacity and inventory targets to eliminate potential disruptions, minimize storage costs and avoid material scrap.

Key Responsibilities

Execute the development, maintenance, communication and publication of the plan to ensure patients / needs are met.

Maintain Raw Materials and Components inventories within our goal, while minimizing excess, obsolete and expired materials. Contribute to the global balancing of stocks ensuring efficient and effective procurement & inventory practices and optimizing the balance between quality, service, reliability and cost.

Partner with Global Procurement and Suppliers to drive performance improvements including quality and timely deliveries.

Collaborate with Quality and Warehouse staff regarding rejected / defective materials, making the physical arrangements with the supplier to ensure timely return of goods or disposal.

Focus and encourage continuous improvement of the processes supported!

Support the successful introduction of new products or technical transfers and manage material and components Phase in and Phase Out processes.

Education:

Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or other related Business field is essential.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years relevant Supply Chain Management experience (Planning, Logistics or Manufacturing) is required.

Experience in Planning/Purchasing in a multi-national environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and capabilities:

Demonstrate the drive, eagerness and capabilities to be successful in this role with a view to developing and progressing to leadership level within Johnson & Johnson.

Development of an efficient and effective Material planning supply chain management processes and systems.

Customer focus ensuring that customer requirements are clearly planned for and communicated within the organization.

Results driven, while ensuring the optimization and efficient use of Janssen resources.

Contribute to the innovation and continuous improvement within Janssen.

Ensure department and personnel goals and objectives are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Ensure a high level of integrity and implementation of Credo-based actions.
