About the Internship

The Quality Systems Intern will work closely with our Quality Systems & Compliance team to support with Documentation management, training program, audit preparation and continuous improvement initiatives. This role is an integral part of our commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining the highest quality standards across our organization.

So, what will be your main tasks?

Documentation Management:

Assist in the creation, review, and maintenance of quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and forms.

Support Document management project.

Organize and manage document control systems to ensure accessibility, traceability, and compliance.

Training Program Support:

Collaborate with the Quality team to develop and maintain a comprehensive training program for employees.

Assist in tracking and monitoring training completion and compliance.

Audit Preparation and Support:

Contribute to the preparation of internal and external audits by organizing documentation and facilitating audit logistics.

Participate in audit activities and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Quality Metrics and Reporting:

Assist in the collection and analysis of quality metrics to monitor and report on the performance of the quality management system.

Contribute to the development of reports for management review meetings.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of quality systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.

About you

We are looking for a proactive Bachelor/Master student in a food technical or quality discipline, i.e. Food & Technology, Microbiology, Biomedical Sciences, Food Quality / Safety management. You should have basic knowledge of quality and food safety management systems (HACCP, ISO, GMP, GLP, FSSC, FSMA regulations, HALAL). On top of that, you have good communication, hands on and analytical skills and a digital mindset with knowledge of Excel and PowerBi is a plus. This internship provides a unique opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in Quality System processes and management within a quality management framework.

Additionally, you must meet the following compulsory requirements:

• Enrolled as a student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
• Available to start as soon as possible for a minimum of 6 months , 4 to 5 days per week;
• You are fluent in Dutch and English - spoken and written,
• You are able to work from Zoetermeer factory (at least 4 times per week)

Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.
