We are growing fast and based upon the order intake we are looking for additional workforce in the form of a werkvoorbereider / project support for our center of competence (CoC) for data centers. Your stakeholders are execution project managers, lead engineers, system engineers, line managers and sales. You need to build strong stakeholder relationships to define their needs and consider the resource impacts in the department.

We are looking for a werkvoorbereiding / project support who will fit the team of driven and relative young professionals for our relatively new line of business. Distribution Systems is part of the Smart Infrastructure business unit. We are specialists in the design and delivery of custom build energy solutions for a very demanding market both national as international. Focus is on Datacenter projects.

What are your responsibilities?

• Supporting the project manager in planning monitoring progress;

• Coordinates the request for required engineering and commissioning resources for the project; 

Support Project Manager regarding outsourcing;

• Prepare for purchase / preparation of orders;

• Keep track of orders and deliveries. Maintaining and updating the production and FAT schedule, 

including communication about this with customers;

• Follow up actions factory punch items, transport damages, missing material;

• Instructing and support external parties, under the responsibility of the project manager, with 

regard to the work to be performed on-site;

• Participation in construction- or site meetings to support the Project Manager or site manager. 

• Support PM with internal and external reporting;

• Calculating additional / less work and make the quotation;

Functie-eisen

• Education MBO or HBO

• Minimum of 2 years relative work experience, preferably in a projects environment.

• Precise, positive critical

• Proactive with ownership mindset 

• Flexible working attitude, hands-on and result driven

• Good communicator, stress resistance and able and willing to work in a hectic project environment.

• Fluent in English, Basic Dutch.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

Primary employment conditions

  • A gross monthly salary of up to €3800
  • A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
  • 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries

Secondary employment conditions

  • Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1)
  • 5% ADV allowance
  • Net €750,- to set up your home workplace
  • 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours
  • Travel allowance
  • Internet allowance
  • Home office allowance

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year
