Are you ready to bring your expertise to the forefront and make an impact with Siemens Energy? We're searching for a Financial Expert to join our team and play a crucial role in driving the success of our projects. Here's how you'll contribute:

Your Role:

You'll provide top-notch commercial and financial expertise for a designated group of contracts/projects. Teaming up with the project manager, you'll lead the execution of these projects, ensuring we not only meet but exceed project financial and qualitative KPIs while maximizing customer satisfaction.

Your collaboration won't stop there – you'll work closely within the country and subregion of Western Europe. Plus, as a member of our global FIN community, you'll help us strive for financial excellence across the board.

How you'll make an Impact:

• You'll take on the financial responsibilities for contracts/projects within your area of expertise, playing a critical role in commercial project management. This includes covering commercial, contractual, tax, and legal regulations in accordance with Siemens Energy's Project Management Guidelines.
• Your duties will include handling order intake booking, monitoring project KPIs, and managing cost development, progress, and contract matters.
• You'll lend your support in preparing legal and commercial conditions for offers and contracts, attending negotiations, and nurturing relationships with our Sales Team on both regional and global levels.
• Monthly reporting will be part of your routine, ensuring all requirements are met.
• As a trusted partner to the technical project manager, you'll assist in decision-making processes at both project and business levels.
• You'll oversee receivables, payables, hedging, IFRS reporting, and related monthly closing activities.
• Cross-border activities will also fall under your purview, where you'll coordinate and execute agreements in alignment with internal and tax regulations.
• Lastly, you'll be responsible for customer invoicing, project cost control, provisioning, and ongoing calculations.

What You Bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar field, or equivalent experience such as an apprenticeship in a Finance profession.
• A minimum of 3–4 years of experience in a related field, preferably within a multinational company.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch (German proficiency is a bonus).
• Strong team orientation and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional, cross-regional teams.
• An analytical mindset with robust planning and self-learning skills.
• Availability for occasional travel.

• Salary: €4800 – €5500 p.m. based on full-time.
• Hours: 40 hour p.w. (partly working from home is possible)
• Location: Zoeterwoude
• Contract: 1 year via Yacht, after that extension or a perm contract with the company is possible
• Educational budget
• Thirteenth month
