Reliability Engineer

Position summary:

Janssen Biologics Leiden's Make Asset Management (MAM) team is responsible for Life Cycle Management of manufacturing and utilities assets. The MAM team has three key functions: Execution Systems (Automation), Engineering and Maintenance.

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for the Reliability and Asset Management strategy, program, and execution for J&J Innovative Medicine, Leiden manufacturing site.

As an enthusiastic program leader with strong technical capabilities, you lead the Reliability and Asset Management strategy roadmap, making sure governance, processes and capabilities are in place to deliver plant reliability.

This position reports to the Site Maintenance lead.

Responsibilities

· Drive the multi-year Asset Management maturity improvement program for Leiden site: lead, deploy and continuously improve the Asset Management maturity program for Leiden site.

· As the Life cycle Management process owner for the Leiden manufacturing plant: lead, deploy and continuously improve the LCM process for Leiden site.

· Ensure high equipment reliability levels for the Leiden manufacturing plant by deploying a cross-departmental Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) program.

· Deploy business analytic tools for continuous improvement and risk management as part of the Reliability strategy, including FRACAS, FMECA, HAZOP, root cause elimination

· Serve as the Reliability SPOC Leiden site, as a member of global reliability and asset management improvement programs.

· Lead Asset management gap assessment, such as JJOS diagnostics and Asset Management maturity assessments.

· Develop standards (work processes, methodologies, technology solutions) across the equipment lifecycle

· Monitor and analyze the reliability performance, and drive root cause elimination

• Shape and lead the reliability components in the Site Asset Masterplans (SAMP)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years Reliability program lead experience and Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or equivalent, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in a GMP regulated environment of 5+ years
• RCM or related certification preferred
• End to end mindset.
• Ability to switch between strategical and operational thinking and to manage change.
• The ability to collaborate effectively with different levels in the organization at local and at global level
• Decision making and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of process excellence and project management tools.
• Technical knowledge of digitization technology, manufacturing assets and processes.
